Chicken-Stuffed Crescent Rolls

Here’s a tasty recipe for Chicken-Stuffed Crescent Rolls, a quick and easy dish that’s perfect for a weeknight dinner or a fun appetizer!

Ingredients:

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works great)
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your choice of cheese)
1/4 cup green onions, chopped (optional)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 egg (for egg wash, optional)
Optional: additional herbs or spices (like paprika or Italian seasoning) for extra flavor

Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Filling:
In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Roll Out the Crescent Dough:
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.

Fill the Crescent Rolls:
Place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling. Pinch the edges to seal.

Prepare for Baking:
Place the stuffed crescent rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. If desired, beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over the tops of the rolls for a golden finish.

Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.

Serve:
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Chicken-Stuffed Crescent Rolls warm!

These rolls are versatile and can be served as a main dish, appetizer, or snack. Feel free to customize the filling with your favorite ingredients! Enjoy!
