Baked potato!!!

Baked potato is a dish that has been around for many years and is considered a classic. It is made by baking a potato until it is cooked. This meal’s simplicity may be the reason why it has become so popular; once baked, the potato can be used in various ways as well as being eaten alone without any additional ingredients. From small family gatherings to large restaurants, there are no limits to what can be done with this versatile food.

When making a baked potato there are several steps involved beginning with selecting the right type of spud – typically russets because they have fluffy insides and earthy flavors which are perfect for baking. After choosing one, it should be washed thoroughly then poked all over using a fork before rubbing olive oil onto its skin and sprinkling some salt on top prior putting into an oven where it will stay until completely cooked through. While being roasted, outer layer turns crispy while inside remains soft and tender thus providing interesting combination of textures

What distinguishes the baked potato from all other foods is its ability to become an artistic creation when combined with other ingredients. You can use butter, sour cream and chives for a traditional topping or chili, cheese and guacamole for more adventurous taste buds. Each forkful provides a medley of sensations, some creamy and sharp; others are salty or smooth.

Ingredients:

   4 big russet potatoes

   Olive oil

   Salt

Toppings of your choice (e.g., butter, sour cream, chives, cheese, bacon, etc.)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to four twenty five degrees Fahrenheit (two hundred twenty celsius). Clean potatoes well under running water to remove any soil and dry them with a kitchen towel.

Stick each potato multiple times with a fork or knife so that steam can get out when baking and not let it burst open.

Rub every potato using olive oil then add enough salt. This will make crispy skins and bring out the taste.

You can place the potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake them for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until they’re soft enough when poked with a fork.

Once the potatoes have been baked, take them out of the oven carefully using mitts or a towel because they will be hot. Let them cool for a few minutes until it’s safe to touch them.

To serve, cut each potato in half lengthwise using a knife and fluff up inside with a fork. Then add your favorite toppings such as butter, sour cream, chives, cheese, bacon etc..

Serve immediately while still hot and enjoy this incredibly tasty comfort food!

This recipe is for 4 servings but you can always adjust amounts of ingredients depending on how many people you are serving.
