Making this dish is typically done in laborious way but it has great payoff. Just need few things like eggs, milk, vanilla extracts and ground cinnamon to make the ordinary slices of the French bread into a luxurious treat. The first step involves mixing whisked eggs, milk and smelly spices together to form a soft custard bath. After that, every piece of bread should be dropped into this mixture with care while at the same time making sure they are well coated before being arranged in buttered baking dish.

While in oven French bread becomes crispy outside and delicate inside as custard sets. Vanilla and cinnamon fill the kitchen with a tempting aroma that creates an experience for taste buds; as much as it does for the sense of smell. At this point, you can remove them from oven when they become brown and puffed up to add some maple syrup on top or put powdered sugar or fresh berries around them as desired. Every bite brings back memories of France’s past which is why you cannot resist its dishes.
